Bean Creative’s BlastOff CMS includes features and integration that often result in exorbitant pricing. Given our many association and non profit clients, it was important for us to provide robust content control with unlimited users—all for a reasonable, one-time-only fee.

• Makes web publishing easy
  BlastOff’s web-based interface allows your staff to easily access and update content from their desk or when out of the office. An easy WYSIWYG (“What You See Is What You Get”) editor makes for simple page creation, with an HTML code view option for advanced users and administrators.
• Provides social networking features
  Create RSS feeds, tag content, offer site-wide widgets, support sharing tools such as Digg and Deli.cio.us, and accommodate 508 needs with user-customizable text sizes. BlastOff also includes blogging and commenting features. The CMS includes print-friendly pages and “email a friend” functionality to help visitors dive directly into relevant content.
• Provides “sitelettes” to create special web sections
  Support and manage multiple sites within BlastOff for special sections or initiatives (such as annual meetings, foundations, chapters, etc.). Sitelettes can be open to the public or password protected, and can have their own set of BlastOff administrators who may or may not have access to the full BlastOff CMS. Sitelettes can also be customized with designs that may differ from the parent website.
• Provides Media Manager tools
  The Media Manager functions as a central repository for uploaded files. The Media Manager allows you to upload, organize and link to documents (such as PDFs, PowerPoint, Excel and Word), image files, and multimedia files (audio/video clips and Flash files).

  Full-site templating means that you never have to worry that pages look out of place or do not follow your website guidelines. Plus, our link checking controls ensure that even if your staff edits, deletes or moves content, all navigation links are valid and active.

  BlastOff uses standard Office-style buttons and features to allow your staff to easily format content, add web links and images, create multiple-page articles and upload documents.

  Quickly create workflows to control the creation, editing, and approval of all web pages, and segment any portion of your website to be controlled and published by specific users. Workflows may be as simple as a one-step process, or as complex as you wish. The CMS supports customized workflows to restrict CMS user access to specific sections or content, and all users receive e-mail notification when content is promoted/demoted to them.
• Simplifies site architecture and navigation
  Site administrators can manage the flow of your website on the fly. The CMS provides tools to set your site’s navigation options, from the top level sections down to subsections and tertiary navigation. We provide a separate tool so you can customize your site architecture to structure content storage and folders on the back-end.

  BlastOff archives saved versions of every page, allowing you to recover previous edits quickly. In addition, each web page is locked while being edited to prevent corruption of your content assets. BlastOff also offers content archiving features and the ability to remove older versions that you may not need.

  BlastOff can be integrated with some of the most widely used Association Management Systems (such as iMIS and NOAH) and fundraising/outreach tools (Convio, GetActive, CapWiz) so you can have seamless connections to mission-critical tools and important functionality.

  Users can easily integrate keywords and content overviews to catalog web pages for easy search retrieval. In addition, the metadata area allows users to easily implement important search engine optimization (SEO) keywords, titling and alt tags and phrases for search engine optimization.
• Allows members-only login and content
  Create members-only pages that are accessible via login.
• Offers calendar and scheduling features
  BlastOff comes with a robust calendar of events that allows for repeat scheduling,
  and the ability to list and sort events by topic.
• Offers an embedded search engine
  BlastOff comes with ColdFusion Verity Search engine, which searches
  all pages run from the CMS, including text within PDF, Word and
  PowerPoint and other uploaded documents.
• Provides useful add-on features
