Using a touchscreen computer, players “ride” on a war pony, take aim and fire their arrows at a herd of bison, all while trying to avoid perils like prairie dog holes. It was essential to represent Comanche culture accurately, so we worked closely with museum staff, advisers and assets for an appropriate interface and gameplay.

As part of the interactive, the game incorporates Comanche language, as well as explains how the bison were used in daily life (hides for shelter, bones for tools, etc.).
